Julie Turner, CTABRSM, Founder and Principal of Julie Turner Vocal Studios, has over 20 years performance and teaching experience. Julie attended the Royal College of Music in London to study and undertake her teaching certificate.
Based in Hartlepool, England, Julie provides specialist Musical Theatre vocal tuition including contemporary and legit pre 1960 classical style in preparation for stage school auditions. Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, based on an individual assessment.
In 2016, Julie undertook a new personal challenge – to become a Master Of Estill Voice. This signified a massive leap forward for the business and Julie. As part of this transformation with emphasis on sharing the outstanding skills of Estill Voice with each and every student, this technique is world-renowned and focuses on developing vocal versatility through full expression of the human voice, with no detriment to vocal health. The techniques are founded in science (physiology) and are currently used by many in the West End and on Broadway, to name but a few. This method helps students to develop many genres of singing.
Julie Turner develops students from the age of 16 to achieve a Diploma in Performance working with exam board London College of Music, and in recent years has successfully coached and guided new teachers through their Singing Teaching Qualification.
